Ivana Ostojčić

After graduating in 2008 from the Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with a double degree in English and Italian language and literature with the thesis Kate Chopin's and Willa Cather's Ambivalent Feminists: The Issue of Marriage and Sexuality in Turn-of-the-Century Fiction, Ivana began working as an independent/freelance translator and interpreter. Her translation work ranges from various publications, magazines, exhibition and film festival catalogues to literature, both fiction and non-fiction. In summer 2012, she was a recipient of the Art Omi residency at Ledig House, New York. Ivana is a member of the Croatian Literary Translators Association.
