Alp Kayserilioğlu lives in Berlin and Istanbul. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Tübingen on „AKP as Modern Prince: Hegemony, Authoritarianism and Social Struggles". He regularly writes on social and economic history and political developments in Turkey and is member of the editorial board of the German online magazine re:volt magazine.
