Dan S. Wang
is a writer, printer, and artist who lives in Madison, Wisconsin. His texts on art and politics have been published in Art Journal (New York), SITE (Stockholm), Transversal (Vienna), AREA Chicago, Journal of Aesthetics & Protest (LA) and in many catalogs and artists' publications. His texts are included in the Arrow Factory 3 (Beijing), Space RE: Solutions–Intervention and Research in Visual Culture (London), and The Essential New Art Examiner (Chicago). He co-authored with the artist Nicolas Lampert a widely disseminated movement analysis, “Wisconsin’s Lost Strike Moment,” after the Wisconsin Uprising of 2011 suffered a string of defeats in the spring. He is an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago.
